History
Edouard Normandin is the present owner and Master Blender of the Cognac House, he's the fifth generation of Normandin Mercier. He welcomes you in his property and shares with you his passion for Cognac, coming from his ancestors.
Key Dates
- XVIIth century: Château de la Péraudière: relay of hunting of François 1er
- XVIIIth century: Outbuilding of the castle such as the previous kitchen where we organize the tasting of cognacs nowadays
- 1872: The house of cognac Normandin(-Mercier is founded by Jules Normandin and the cellars have been built
- 2010: development of our event and rental activity
On the outskirts of the city of La Rochelle, Le Domaine de la Péraudière is the location of a famous cognac house Normandin-Mercier.
We welcome you all year long from Monday to Friday and during the weekend on special request. We propose a shop experience, tour and tasting or activities in order to know the backstages of the house of cognac and to taste the best crus of cognacs.
We welcome you to organize your professional meetings, seminars, or afterworks... and also personal events like birthday party, wedding, celebrations... 2 charming places are at your disposal in order to receive up to 150 people.
